Angie and Peter Lowry with Decorating Den were lifesavers when we moved into our historic 1780’s home in Smithfield in 2005. Peter was able to handle both the kitchen and master bath renovation that was immediately necessary. The design and workmanship of the renovation was outstanding and gave us the exact “feel” that we wanted in our historic home. Angie did a fantastic job pulling together all the decorating to make the entire house flow seamlessly. We have lived in the house 5 years and still get compliments on how beautiful the kitchen, living room and dining room decorating flows from one room to another.

Suffolk is located in Virginia with a population of 86,606. It is the largest city in Virginia by area as well as the 11th largest in the country. Before European contact, indigenous American tribes lived in the region for thousands of years. At the time of English settlement, the Nansemond Indians lived along the river. In the early colonial years, the English cultivated tobacco as a commodity crop, but later turned to mixed farming. It became the county seat of Nansemond County in 1750.
