I found Decorating Den in 2024, after making the decision to follow her passion for design in a full-time capacity. Having worked in the Veterinary Medicine industry for the past 12 years, I have spent countless hours caring for pets and getting to know their owners and families. After helping to design and implement organizational and storage solutions for the veterinary clinics, I realized that it was time to shift my focus to interior decorating full-time. I am currently in the process of obtaining my International Decorating and Design Professional Certification, with a projected completion date of November 2024.
I have always enjoyed creating spaces that mirror the personality of my clients. My favorite projects incorporate functional design, unique pieces, and bold color schemes. My passion for design was first solidified after convincing my parents to paint my childhood bedroom the brightest, fun yellow marigold I could find. From there, I was featured each year in the blog for the unique decoration of my college dorm rooms, most notably revolving around a bright orange, retro-style futon.
